Luxury services for dogs are getting more numerous and more varied every year. The well-heeled are definitely appreciating the effort and fully enjoying the perks together with their four-legged best friends. The latest company to have introduced a special program exclusively dedicated to canines is the Virgin America airline.
The new service is called Main Canine Select and provides domestic flights (across the US) in special cabins where only dogs are allowed. The former First Class cabins (rows 1-2) have been customized to meet the needs of the furry little pets. They will enjoy fun features, such as special air vents that mimic the head-out-the-window sensation, and mood-lit fire hydrants as part of the “open air” lavatory.
The most frequent flyers in the Main Canine Select program will also enjoy the newly introduced Elevate “Top Dog” status, which will come with a few extra advantages: Virgin America pet hoodies, curbside hydrants, complimentary “doggy bag”, and even Elevate points for virtual check-ins.
