Audio-Technica is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the introduction of the limited edition ATH-W3000ANV headphones. Only 2,000 examples will ever be made, each one bearing a hefty price tag: $1,400. They will bring more than auditory pleasure to their owners: the high-quality lambskin ear pads and the Asada Hokkaido Cherry wood with traditional Japanese lacquer finish will also respond to their luxury needs. The high-end headphones will be launched on April 17, 2012, celebrating five decades of professional audio equipments from Audio-Technica.
