The limited edition UR-110 EastWood timepiece by Urwerk is definitely one of the most impressive watches ever created by the Swiss watchmaker. What makes this special piece stand out, apart from its unique design, is owed to the unique materials that were used in its manufacturing. These materials include South African red ivory for the bezel, wool tweed for the strap and Indonesian Makassar ebony for various finishes.
The case measures 47mm and was made out of grade 5 titanium. It comprises a Swiss automatic caliber UR 9.01 made in house, which boasts a power reserve of 39 hours, an operating frequency of 28,800 and 46 beautiful jewels. The timepiece indicates time in an original fashion on the right side of the dial. The process is based on a trio of hour satellites that move downward on a vertically arced line.
