Luxury Parisian shopping center Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is celebrating its 160th anniversary by launching a new limited edition fragrance by Giorgio Armani. With a perfect mix of saffron, Damask rose, patchouli and amber, the fragrance is called L’Or du Désert, and it’s actually a special edition of Armani’s Rose d’Arabie fragrance.
This is a new addition to the One Thousand and One Nights collection, and it is clearly inspired by the magic and mystery of the Orient. What makes this fragrance really unique is the fact that it also contains pure gold flakes that give the skin a mesmerizing shimmer, like that of an Arabic Goddess.
L’Or du Désert will soon be available exclusively at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche (the first department store in Paris, founded in 1838), starting September 15. The price for one 100ml spray version will be €255 (approx. $330).
