Among the many limited edition products created specially for the upcoming Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, we’d like to mention these two red, white and blue shoe models by young designer Aruna Seth. The Hackbridge-based designer is very much appreciated for her creations among British Royalty and many Hollywood stars, and she is ready to impress them all again.
The anniversary shoes take between 10-12 weeks to create, as every single crystal is hand set by professional artisans in Northern Italy. The first model – Union Jack Heels – flaunts three thousand Swarovski crystals, and costs £3,000 a pair (approx. $4,800). The shoes will be displayed in Harrods during the Jubilee and the Olympics. Only ten pairs will be created.
The second model boasts the remarkable beauty of Royal blue satin. It is only decorated at the heel with an elegant line of red and white crystals, and a Swarovski Union Jack Bow. Priced at £1,500 (about $2,350), these too will be displayed at Harrods.
