As if regular private jets weren’t luxurious and expensive enough, Lufthansa and Mercedes-Benz joined hands to design a fabulous airplane cabin that redefines the concepts of comfort and elegance. This cabin is able to rival some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, and it was sketched out for medium to long flights.
One of the project’s most impressive features includes seamlessly flowing ceilings that merge with the walls and the floors, not to mention the luxurious and futuristic furnishings. The elongated windows can be darkened electronically – a feature borrowed from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The paneling will include digital touchscreen displays that will ensure easy access to a plethora of miscellaneous functions. The white upholstery contrasts nicely with dark brown wooden paneling, and it contributes to an elegant and welcoming ambiance.
The renderings for this fabulous cabin were presented during the 2015 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition, were they received positive feedback from experts and luxury enthusiasts.
