Land Rover Defender XTech (3)

Land Rover has officially announced the extension of the Defender XTech Limited Edition into the 2012 model year. This is definitely happy news for many fans of the car around the world, but the sad part is that the automaker only intends to bring the new model to the States sometime in 2015. Until then, the UK will have the chance to enjoy all its upgrades and alterations, starting later this month.

The exterior sports a new Orkney Grey or Nara Bronze paint job, black roof, headlamp surrounds, black checkered plate for the bumper and sills, black wheel arches, 16-inch alloys with MTR off-road tires, and an overall tough look.

Powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine, the vehicle delivers 266 lb-ft of torque. It has a six-speed manual transmission, which helps send the power to the wheels in a very efficient way. The Land Rover logo decorates the interior in several key spots, as part of the standard features that this vehicle boasts. Also on the list are ABS, traction control, heated windscreen, heated seats, air conditioning, central locking, and rear-step bumper entry  and exit.
