Chopard has unveiled the world’s first timepiece to receive the three most prestigious certifications in the world: COSC, Poinçon de Genève and Fleurier Quality. The latter is the only certification that vouches simultaneously for accuracy, durability and quality finishing.

Called L.U.C. Triple Certification Tourbillon, the timepiece boasts an 18-carat rose gold chassis and a 43mm white dial with Rhodium plated hour markers (Roman numerals). The same coating was applied on the hour and minute hands. The seconds dial is set at 6 o’clock as an exposed skeleton that shows the mechanism of the hand-wound L.U.C. 02.13-L (L.U.C. 1.02QF) movement. It has a power reserve of nine days, which can be checked at any time on the dial, at 12 o’clock.

The watch is water resistant to 50 meters and has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal cover to protect its dial. The case back is transparent, the strap is brown alligator leather and the buckle is rose gold. Only 100 pieces will ever be made, but the price hasn’t been disclosed yet.
