Korean Air announced the introduction of Celestial Bars in ten of the company’s new A380 aircrafts. The bars will be the result of a successful collaboration between the Korean flight company and Absolut Vodka. Talking about this collaboration, Heather Cho, Senior Vice President of Korean Air Catering & In-flight Sales Business Division, said “It is a partnership made in Haven”. The first five bars should be introduced by the end of this year, while the remaining five will be set by 2014.
Absolut Vodka subtly communicates its brand by using their signature blue and white theme and other carefully chosen design elements. A master mixologist will be preparing drinks for the passengers and he or she will even suggest special combinations based on the passenger’s personal preferences. The price for enjoying the special atmosphere of the Celestial Bars is not yet known, but we’re sure people won’t mind spending some extra cash for a new flight experience like this.
