The famous Kate Middleton’s wedding dress returned for an encore 10 weeks at Buckingham Palace. Almost £10 million (over $15 million) were raised from the record breaking 600,000 curious visitors from all over the world. Those who wanted to see the fabulous wedding gown, this time not from the comfort of the sofas at home, had to pay £17,50 ($27) for a ticket.
As expected, all the money was raised for the charitable foundation set up by the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband. The Royal Collection, which maintains the treasures and paintings at the Royal palaces, will receive most of the money.
