For all true fashion lovers, meeting Karl Lagerfeld in person would be a fairy tale-like experience, where the fairy godmother makes their dearest wish come true with the touch of a magic wand. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as magic and pixie dust in our world, so most Lagerfeld adorers will never get the chance to meet the iconic fashion designer face to face.
This, however, doesn’t mean that you can’t at least take a picture with him! And how is that possible? Well, simply visit the Panoptikum Museum in Hamburg, Germany, where world famous personalities can be met every day, in the form of perfect wax sculptures. The artist who dared take on this project was sculptor Saskia Ruth, who worked together with her team for almost a year to complete this real-life size portrait of the fashion legend.
