Two grand brands are celebrating their 180th anniversary this year. Both characterized by innovation, technological advancements, and overall exquisite creations, the two are also celebrating the successful collaboration that they have enjoyed for years. So who are these luxury giants? Swiss watch manufacturer Lager-LeCoultre and British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin.
For this very special occasion, Jaeger-LeCoultre has launched three remarkable wristwatches, all very exciting and equally exclusive. First is the Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm Aston Martin, a wonderful piece that is ideal for business travelers who need to know the exact time wherever they find themselves around the globe. With this timepiece, all you need is one glance and you already know what time it is everywhere in the world. It boasts a sporty design inspired by Aston Martin, of course, as well as a patented case and an in-house developed movement, calibre 912.
The second anniversary watch is the Master Hometime Aston Martin. This one is powered by a 975H movement and can show the time from two different time zones. The reference time (“Hometime”)is indicated by a skeletonized hand, which makes reading the different hours very easy. The timepiece has a classic and sleek design that is ideal for stylish men who prefer a minimalist elegance.
Finally, the third model in this special series is the AMVOX5 World Chronograph Cermet. This is an excellent choice for a race driver who also likes to keep track of time no matter where he isin the world. This is an accurate chronograph as well as an instrument that tells the time in 24 different time zones. This very lightweight piece is powered by an in-house automatic movement, calibre 752, which is housed in a reinforced cermet (not cermet!) case.
