ItaldesignGiugiaro Unveils the Innovative Parcour at Geneva

A brand new type of GT is proudly making its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It is a unique car that celebrates Italdesign Giugiaro’s 45 years of existence, and which is bound to make some waves among car fans. Controversies are inevitable with every new concept, but Volkswagen Group is ready to face any reactions.

The name of the concept is Parcour, and just as its moniker suggests, this is a car designed to conquer any type of terrain. It was inspired by the versatility of Sport Utility Vehicles, but it is actually a coupe with extra muscle and talent. A roadster version was also introduced by the design house. Its suspension system is new and intricate, allowing the car to adjust its stance from 8.2 inches to as high as 13 inches! Drivers will just have to choose between Track, Comfort, and Off-Road driving modes, and then savor the experience.

Powering this extremely adaptable beast is a 550 HP mid-mounted V10 engine with 5.2-liter displacement. It can take the car from 0 to 62 mph in only 3.6 seconds, while the maximum speed is somewhere around 200 mph! Check out the gallery and let us know what you think of the Parcour.
