Las Vegas’ 2015 CES event included the unveiling of an innovative and impressive music system created by the Danish audio manufacturer Bang & Olufsen. The product boasts a minimalistic design as well as incredible functionality, and it was created to fulfill a single and very important purpose: to play the music that you love.
The system is basically a two-sided tablet that features cloud connectivity, but its main highlight can actually be seen on its back end, which flaunts the first touch-sensitive wood interface in the world. The oak wood panel features a circular indentation that can be used to play music and adjust its volume.
The front side of the BeoSound Moment system has a metallic finish as well as a regular touchscreen that allows the user to browse music stored in the cloud or on other devices. An interesting function called PatternPlay is able to record your listening preferences and suggest songs or radio stations depending on the day of the week or the time. The system comes with a price tag of $2,795, which includes a subscription to Deezer for an entire year.
