Hydroscaph Steel Central Chronograph by Clerc Geneve

The Hydroscaph Steel Central Chronograph is the latest timepiece by Clerc Geneve, and it is available in different choices of metals (including gold), with or without DLC finish. Made of 103 different parts and measuring 45 millimeters, the case keeps the automatic mechanical Clerc C608 movement inside it safe at underwater depths of up to 500 meters (1,640 feet).

In terms of design, its most distinctive feature is the “square in circle” shape of the case. The chronograph features two central-set hands instead of the usual 3-subdial configuration. At the 3 o’clock position there is a tiny dial that shows the non-chrono seconds, while a 24-hour GMT mini dial is positioned at 9 o’clock.

The strap is made of rubber or rubber-treated hornback crocodile, with folding clasp. Production of the Hydroscaph Steel Central Chronograph will be limited to only 500 units.
