Hublot to Launch Big Bang Caviar Collection at Baselworld

The new Big Bang Caviar collection by Hublot will be unveiled soon at this year’s Baselworld exhibition. Available in two versions, the luxury timepiece flaunts 36 dazzling diamonds on the bezel and a 41 mm case made of either stainless steel or red gold. There is also a simpler version of the watch, without diamonds, and which only features the brand’s iconic titanium or gold H-shaped screws on the bezel.

Both versions, however, are visually stunning due to the striking graphical design of the case and dial. The calfskin leather that is sewn over the comfortable black rubber straps perfectly matches the metallic allure of the watch. Powering the Big Bang Caviar is a HUB1112 self-winding mechanical movement with 42-hour power reserve and 10-bar (100 m) water resistance.

Obviously, the crystal is made of sapphire and boasts interior and exterior antireflective coatings. Since the intricate dial left no room for the Hublot logo, a high-gloss black logo was etched onto the crystal. The only detail that breaks the continuity of the dial is the 3 o’clock date window. The hands are a bit difficult to spot, because of their skeletonized design, but that’s ok, because everything about this watch must revolve around the amazing case and dial.
