The Historic Grand Prix of Monaco exists since 1997, but this outstanding timepiece, called the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique 2012, actually pays tribute to the beautiful 1970s racing cars. Built by Chopard, the official timekeeper of the event, this watch flaunts a masculine, race-inspired design with a matte grey finish and neon color details.

With a 42.4mm titanium case, an anthracite dial, and bright touches of orange or blue, the watch is a sporty accessory for men with educated tastes. A grey Barenia calfskin strap with orange stitching comfortably fixes the watch on the wrist with a titanium pin buckle.

Also available in rose gold, the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique 2012 features a COSC-certified mechanical self-winding chronometer and is water resistant to up to 50 meters. The movement can be admired through a window on the reverse side, while the edge of the case back bears the “Grand Prix de Monaco Historique” inscription.
