A stunning gold-plated Infiniti G37 convertible is currently sitting in an impound yard, waiting for its owners to pay a fine and bring it back home. The striking vehicle was created as a showpiece of a Chinese jeweler in Jiangsu province. Unfortunately, the publicity stunt went all wrong last Friday, when its owners took it out for a ride and parked it somewhere outside the store.
The vehicle had no registered license plate and the 24-carat gold on it was not enough to make policemen look over this mistake. If the owner’s won’t pay the fine in less than 10 days, the precious Infinity will be crushed, according to the Daily Mail. We hope things won’t get that ugly, and the fine will be taken care of in time. However, we can only imagine how restless its five artisans must feel right now: it took them more than four months to complete the project.
