Recently unveiled at the SIHH 2013, this elegant collection of luxury timepieces for women is called Limelight Gala Collection. It is a new series dedicated by Piaget to stylish ladies from all over the world. Their beautiful and very feminine design was inspired by the 1960s, but the overall look is modern and irresistible.
Measuring only 32 mm in diameter, the cases are ideal for even the most delicate wrist. Due to their heavy gem embellishments, they look very much like jewels: the round bezels and the two extended lugs are all covered with brilliant-cut diamonds of various sizes. One version, however, takes thing one step further and has the entire dial covered in diamonds, for an even more dazzling effect.
The other dial version is simple and elegant, featuring black roman numerals over beautifully polished backgrounds. The watches are all available in 18-carat white or pink gold, and feature matching black or white satin straps. For those who need even more opulence, Piaget also created a diamond studded bracelet instead of the simple satin one. Powering the watch is an in-house Piaget 690P quarts movement.
