Sofia is the name of the largest yacht ever built by Moonen Shipyards, a Dutch company whose first yacht was launched back in 1963, and which is still one of the world’s most important motor yacht builders. Sofia is now the only superyacht of its size in the world to hold a three-seat submarine.
The owner of the vessel has been very involved in the designing and building process, and the result is really remarkable. Lavish interiors, bright and comfortable rooms, and plenty of luxe amenities make this three-deck yacht a real gem. Among the most spectacular areas onboard we mention the spacious atrium with custom Caesarstone Concetto art, and the full-beam master cabin located on the main deck.
With two queen-sized cabins and two twins or doubles, plus the lavish owner’s quarters, there is enough room on the yacht for up to ten people. There is also an area on the vessel dedicated to seven crew members. Natural materials, such as Zebrano, oak, and rattan are matched with carefully chosen fabrics to create a modern and welcoming ambiance.
Amenities on Sofia include a gym, a spa pool, a bar on the sundeck, an open-air deck lounge on the main deck, a professional galley, state-of-the-art entertainment system, iPad-controlled blinds, lighting, and climate systems, and, of course, the aforementioned submarine.
