Extravagant Royal Wedding Packages at Luxe Hotels in London

Swissotel The Howard

Countless visitors will flood the streets of London tomorrow, and by night many of them will fill the rooms of luxury hotels in the city. Royal wedding packages have been created in almost every hotel for this occasion, and this basically means new hefty prices. According to a survey by Santander Credit Cards, some hotels have doubled their rates, and one of them has even dared to make a 113% increase in prices. Here are three of the most extravagant hotel packages you can enjoy in London right now.

1. Hyatt Regency London

Hyatt Regency London

Starting today and until May 2, 2011, six guests will have the pleasure of staying in Hyatt Regency London’s Royal Suite. The booking includes a chauffeur that takes the guests from the airport to the luxury hotel in a six-seater Daimler DS420, quite similar to those in the royal fleet. The Royal Suite boasts three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a drawing room, a study and even a private gymnasium. The package also includes flower arrangements by Moyse Stevens, bathroom amenities from Floris and a former Royal butler as a personal butler.

2. Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park

The great thing about this royal wedding package is the fact that it includes exclusive access to a roof terrace that will offer unrestricted views of the royal parade. Also included in the six-day package is a visit to the Westminster Abbey (the place where the big event will take place tomorrow), a tour of Spencer House and a tour of Chartwell, the home of Sir Winston Churchill’s family since 1924. The price for one person is £11,300 (approx. $18,000), while two people will pay only £18,800 (approx. $30,000) for their six-day stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

3. Swissotel The Howard

Swissotel The Howard

“Pretty Little Princess” is the name of the special package Swissotel The Howard has got to offer. The unforgettable experience was created for little girls between 3 and 8 years of age. It includes a dress with matching fur cape, glitter shoes, silver tiara and matching handbag. The girls will also enjoy a special trip to the Westminster Abbey in a horse-drawn carriage. This is what we call a full princess experience. Parents will have to pay £2904 (or $4,800) for it.
