Due to its secluded and elevated positioning, the current location of the NIZUC Resort & Spa has been used for observational and recreational purposes for quite some time now. It was initially a favorite spot for Mayan astronomers, and in more recent years, it served as a retreat for important people visiting the Yucatan Peninsula.
Flaunting an overwhelming level of luxury and comfort, the resort was opened in 2013, and it sits on a 29-acre beachfront property. Accommodations include 274 villas and suites, each boasting high-end amenities, superb decorations and comfortable beds. The resort offers two private beaches as well as six restaurants that serve mouth-watering dishes based on international, Mexican, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
The main highlight comes in the form of the 30,000-square-foot NIZUC spa that provides rejuvenating and refreshing treatments performed by expert staff members. Tennis lovers can also enjoy their favorite sport at the tennis courts, where rookies can hone their skills under the guidance of professionals.
