Honoring Swarovski’s 120th anniversary celebrations that are set to take place later this year, a team of Belgian artists from Studio Job created a special room for the newly expanded Swarovski Kristallwelten attraction in Austria. Dubbed the “Room of Wonders”, it includes a sublime installation that that depicts a mountain and multiple landmarks such as the Big Ben clock tower in London, the Statue of Liberty in New York and numerous traditional Alpine chalets. The sides of the peak feature a fairytale castle as well as colorful turrets that remind of Saint Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow. Each and every one of these landmarks was painted entirely by hand by skilled artisans.

The structure also boasts a golden railway track as well as model freight trains that carry gold in their little wagons. The space above the model includes mirrored panels set into a domed ceiling, while stained-glass windows in the walls flaunt colorful patters of musical instruments. The mountain itself is bronze-cast and is decorated with a plethora of Swarovski crystals.
