Exquisite Cat’s Eye Jewellery, Tourbillon with Gold Bridge

Designed to take your breath away, the new Cat’s Eye Jewellery, Tourbillon with Gold Bridge from Girard-Perregaux represents the perfect combination between fine watchmaking and exquisite jewelry. It was created for the delicate wrists of stylish women, with a white gold case, mother-of-pearl dial and over 1,000 snow-set diamonds.

This special style of diamond setting can be performed only by a small number of artisans, which makes the timepiece even more covetable. This method of setting ensures the fact that no two watches are exactly the same, giving the piece a unique signature, much like the human fingerprints.

Snow setting involves working without a plan (a previously established drawing of how the gems must be positioned), and permanently adjusting to the conditions. The key feature of this special technique is the fact that it leaves nothing but the crimping grains between the gems. Consequently, the artisan needs to use various diameters in his work and keep adjusting as things progress.

The glam character of the watch is further enhanced by the beautiful dial with pearl decoration, as well as the alligator strap with matching snow-set folding clasp. The tourbillon with hand-engraved gold Bridge can be admired at 6 o’clock, and the back of the case can be individually engraved. Powering the piece is a GP09700 Manufacture movement with 177 hand decorated and assembled components, and a power reserve of minimum 70 hours.
