Exceptional Brabus 859 6.0 Biturbo Coupe

Based on the already impressive S63 AMG Coupe model by Mercedes-Benz, the Brabus 859 6.0 Biturbo Coupe was officially unveiled during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. As far as looks go, this stunning automobile comes with an impressive aero kit that comprises a carbon fiber front spoiler, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, new bumpers and a rear spoiler that is a part of the trunk lid. Inside, we find a black Alcantara headliner complemented by superb Mastik leather and carbon fiber features.

But since we’re talking about a Brabus car, it makes sense to tell you a bit about the performance of the 859 6.0 Biturbo Coupe. As it happens, the project’s highlights are the power-related modifications focused on the vehicle’s twin-turbo V8 engine. The engine received a new crankshaft that boasts a longer stroke as well as bigger forged pistons and a larger cylinder bore, all of which contribute to an increased displacement from 5,461 cc to 5,912 cc.

The pair of Brabus turbochargers also help quite a bit. The engine is now able to dish out 1,069 lb-ft of torque and 838 horsepower, which means that the car is able to perform a 0 to 62 mph sprint in just 3.5 seconds while its top speed reaches 217 mph. The power is fed to all four wheels thanks to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and a 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. The Brabus 859 6.0 Biturbo Coupe also comes in a rear-wheel drive version for those of you who are looking to cause a bit of mayhem on the track.
