Enter the Faberge Big Egg Hunt and Winn a Gem-Studded Prize!

Faberge has organized a very special and fun contest: a huge egg hunt in London! Called the Faberge Big Egg Hunt, the contest is about finding as many artistically decorated eggs as possible, and winning the grand prize, which is the Diamond Jubilee Faberge Egg worth £100,000 (approx. $158,000).

There  are 200 eggs hidden across 12 areas in London, and each area has a map that can help you in your hunt, though they are not meant to reveal the exact location of the eggs. Important artists have helped decorate each piece, among them being Zandra Rhodes, Sir Ridley Scott, and Bruce Oldfield. The eggs have a unique key word which contestants will have to text to 80001.

Only one person will receive the dazzling Diamond Jubilee egg, but the other participants will also have the possibility to take home a souvenir of their hunting spree. The hidden eggs will eventually be sold at auction, with proceeds going towards two important charities: Action for Children, and The Elephant Family.

The big prize – unveiled by actress Emilia Fox at Faberge’s boutique store in central London – is decorated with 60 gems, each one representing one year of reign of Queen Elizabeth II. These include rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and diamonds. The hunt started on February 21 and it will last until April 3.
