Discover the LakshmanSagar Heritage Resort in India

The story of the LakshmanSagar Heritage Resort started back in the 19th century, when it was built by the Thakur of Raipur as a hunting lodge. It was placed on a 32-acre property, and it remained unchanged and untouched for about two centuries before being transformed into the beautiful heritage resort that it is today.

Environmentally friendly and also luxurious, the resort can be found near the Haripur village, Pali district, Rajasthan, India. It is situated between the beautiful LakshmanSagarlake, the desert and the Aravali hills, offering beautiful views and a tranquil natural environment. The mud and stone buildings are rustic with a lively character, being decorated with bright splashes of color.

Here guests are invited to be directly involved in the food preparation process and even assist the live cooking of their meals. They can catch fish from the lake and then have them prepared in a delicious manner by passionate cooks. They can also handpick vegetables from the resort’s gardens and then hand them over to the chef to be carefully prepared for them.

Activities at LakshmanSagar are mostly related to nature. You can go on exciting jungle safaris, or just take a relaxing walk around the resort. Then you can discover the local culture by engaging in traditional arts and crafts. Do your own pottery items, learn to tie your turban, or simply let yourself immersed in the fascinating culture of the area.
