There is a good reason for which people call New York City “the city that never sleeps”. These pictures show just how animated the city can be at night. They are taken from Evan Joseph’s book aptly entitled “New York City at Night: A Tour of the City that Never Sleeps”. Joseph is the premier photographer of the city’s architecture and interiors and his book fascinates with countless aerial and street-level photos. Both famous landmarks (like the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building) and less known places in Manhattan (like Greenwich Village nightclubs) are depicted in his pictures.
