The Raymond Weil Freelancer Piper is a refined and luxurious pilot’s watch that was created by Raymond Weil and Piper Aircraft. The piece was inspired in its design by a few airplane-related elements, which are reflected in a sub-seconds dial that looks like an altitude indicator, and in a handset that showcases the rotor blades installed at the front sides of planes.
The case measures 45mm and is made out of titanium and steel, both of which are highly durable materials. The case houses a RW5020 chronograph, which boasts a GMT complication complemented by a tachymeter bezel and an AR-coated sapphire crystal. Limited o just 1,500 pieces, this exclusive watch was clearly designed to cater to the needs of pilots, but it can also be worn by those who prefer to spend most of their lives grounded as long as they can pay $3,495 for it. The price also includes a Raymond Weil-branded Piper airplane model, which is a welcomed and fitting addition.
