Chevrolet Corvette C7 StingrayAeroWagon by Callaway Cars

Apparently station wagons are on the rise. First Bertone created a stunning Aston Martin Rapide with a luxury wagon shape, and now Callaway Cars is boasting a similar concept based on the iconic Chevrolet Corvette. Still only a concept, the project was unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.

This might just be the beginning of a new craze, but it’s a bit too early to tell and we shouldn’t jump to any conclusions. What we can do, however, is offer you a little information about this new and very intriguing concept car. Callaway hasn’t revealed much about it, but it did say that if demand will be high it will start making the first deliveries by the end of the year.

Called AeroWagon, the special edition Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray will have a completely altered rear end made of carbon fiber. The tuners announced that it will be able to reach more than 200 mph, but the exact specifications are not available yet. We don’t know what power unit it will feature, but we guess it will have to be something cooler than the original car’s direct injected 6.2-liter V8 engine that is capable of putting out 457 HP and 610 Nm of torque. We can’t wait to see how Chevrolet enthusiasts will react to this!
