SevenFriday is definitely not the most popular watchmaking brand right now, but this might change in the near future if its experts keep on releasing impressive models such as the V-Series V3/01. This particular timepiece is a part of the brand’s “Industrial Engines” series, which is why its overall design flaunts elements inspired by automobiles, airplanes, trains or just engines in general.
Its dial boasts a series of carbon touches that remind us of contemporary automobile dashboards, while its pad-printed integers and font clearly reference a speedometer. Various brushed steel elements were inspired by gear paddles and car pedals, while the leather strap looks strikingly similar to a driver’s seat, at least as far as texture is concerned.
The case measures 49.7mm in width and is 11.3mm tall, and it houses a Miyota 82S7 movement. Priced at about $1,111, this timepiece is undoubtedly unique and interesting, and it will surely appeal to plenty of automotive fans.
