Caterham the famed British manufacturer of lightweight sports cars, is again in the spotlight. The company’s latest creation is called the R600 and it’s the fastest Caterham Seven race car ever. Powering the little beast is a 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine that puts out 257 hp and a maximum torque of 200 lb-ft. This is the firs model in the Seven series that features forced induction technology.
Transmitting the aforementioned power to the wheels is a 6-speed sequential gearbox with Titan limited slip differential. A great piece of news for R300 owners: your baby can be upgraded to R600 specs, so you don’t necessarily have to part with your old car in order to have a new awesome one!
