Bang & Olufsen managed to impress all audiophiles at the CES 2015 event in Los Angeles with the release of its BeoSound Moment music system. The system is basically a two-faced tablet that has cloud connectivity, and even though this may not sound particularly impressive, the truth is that this is one of the most innovative and original audio systems in the world.
The back of the BeoSound Moment is covered in oak and boasts the world’s first touch-sensitive wood interface, which can be used to control volume or music playback. The front of the gadget features a touchscreen panel as well as a metallic finish. The user can use this modern interface to browse music found on other devices or in the cloud music library.
We saved the most important feature for last. This Bang & Olufsen creation flaunts a system called PatternPlay, which pays attention to your music listening habits and suggests different songs and radio stations according to the day of the week or the time of day. For $2,795, you will soon get to take home the BeoSound Moment system while benefiting from a yearlong Deezer subscription. The product will become available starting January 30 at the brand’s own stores.
