Bayamo Performance Bike by NeilPryde and BMW Designworks USA

This outstanding bicycle was created by NeilPryde Bikes in collaboration with BMW Group Designworks USA. It is named Bayamo, and there is also a slightly different version of the model, called Bayamo+.

The makers of the high-end bike used “high-modulus unidirectional C6.7 carbon fiber”, and you don’t need to be an expert to figure out the fact that this means extra sturdiness and less weight. For better aerodynamics, the shifting cables and drivetrain were carefully integrated into the frame.

The Plus version of the bicycle is equipped with a “proprietary QFit stem design” that allows the rider to adjust the height and angle of the stem for excellent power drive. The Bayamo is currently on the market at $2,750, while the Bayamo + will only hit the stores in 2013, at $5,000 per unit.
