Audi Unveils the RS Q3 Concept Before the Beijing Auto Show

Audi is still packing its bags for its upcoming trip to China, where it will officially unveil the RS Q3 concept at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. In order to make our intense anticipation of the event more bearable, the automaker decided to share a few official high-resolution pictures of the vehicle a few days before the show.

The photos reveal a pumped-up RS with a new honeycomb grille that flaunts an enhanced 3D appearance, a redesigned bumper, updated air intakes and huge 20-inch aluminum wheels. The ride was lowered by a full inch and it now flaunts an overall more aggressive look.

Matching its appearance is a 2.5-liter TFSI turbocharged five-cylinder engine (the same that you can find in the TT RS), that produces 360 horsepower. A 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox sends this power to all four wheels, thanks to the full-time Quattro configuration of the car. The 0-62 mph time is of just 5.2 seconds.

On the inside, the new concept is dominated by black, but a few dark blue accents perfectly complete the color scheme. Nappa leather and Alcantara makes up the comfortable interior of the car, and blue luminescent glass fibers complete the picture.
