Audi is here with the new and very awesome S3 Sportback. Under the hood it shelters a raging turbocharged 2.0-liter TFSI engine capable of 300 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Now the 5-door vehicle can reach 62 mph in 5 seconds flat, if equipped with an S-Tronic gearbox. The standard transmission, however, is a traditional manual one, which will increase the 0-62 mph time by 0.5 seconds. The top speed is 155 mph.
Quite impressively, the Sportback has a fuel economy of approximately 34 miles per gallon. About 154 pounds lighter than the previous version, the car rolls on new 18-inch wheels with 13.39-inch brakes at the front. The 225-section tires come as standard. Other notable features include the new sport suspension system, which lowers the stance of the S3 by approximately 1 inch, and the Quattro all-wheel drive, which is standard in all Sportback models.
