Audi is preparing some serious design changes for the future. There have been some accusations directed towards the automaker and the fact that its various models look too much alike, but this era is reportedly about to end. As Head of Audi Group Design department, Wolfgang Egger put it, the time of “scalable design” has reached its end, and the company is working on “something new without breaking from tradition”.
Promising better interior-exterior visual cohesion, Audi is putting together a super team of talented and experience de designers from other brands like Alfa Romeo and SEAT. Another excellent addition to the team is former Bentley chief designer Dirk van Braeckel. We cannot wait to see what these personnel changes will result in!
