Alfa Romeo Unveils the New 4C Series

Alfa Romeo is finally ready to unveil the new 4C model, with a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a quite powerful engine. This combination ensures an excellent power-to-weight ratio of 4 kg/hp. The exact figures are: 950 kg (2,094 lbs) and 237 hp.

The car is 4 meters (13 feet) long, 2 m (6.5 ft) wide, and 1.18 m (3.87 ft) high. It can reach 62 mph in only 4.5 seconds, while its maximum speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. Powering it is a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine.

The automaker has also announced its plans to release a racing and road legal version of the Stradale for next year. A convertible variant is also in plan, so yay to that! The new 4C series will reportedly be produced in Maserati’s Modena plant. Prices will range from €56,000 to €64,000 (approx. $76,500 – $87,300).
