Unveiled earlier this month at the Geneva Auto Show, the 378 GT Zagato by AC is a stunning high performance ride built for long distance travelling. It has a steel space frame chassis, a composite sleek body, and sporty 20-inch alloy wheels.
Powering this baby is a massive 6-2-liter V8 capable of 434 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission sends all this power to the wheels, and when the alloys start to spin, it takes less than four seconds for the car to reach the 60 mph threshold, before accelerating to its 185 mph maximum speed limit. All this muscle must be kept under strict control in order to avoid disasters, so the automaker fitted the 378 GT Zagato with perfectly reliable Brembo brakes.
Weighing 3,230 pounds, the new model is now available for order in Germany (€109,990) and the U.K. (£89,990), and the first deliveries are expected to take place in a few months. The beautiful Zagato will be built in South Africa.
