Back in 2011, we got a glimpse of what a Maserati SUV could look like thanks to the company’s Kubang Concept. Now, it looks like Maserati has made good on its promise and released the production model of its SUV, namely the Maserati Levante, which is absolutely superb. Unveiled during the Geneva Motor Show for the first time, this ride is set to go on sale in Europe in spring, and it will become available in other parts of the world in due time.
Even though we know exactly how it looks on the outside, we don’t know much about the interior of this four-wheeler. Judging from what little we’ve seen so far, the interior will resemble that of the Ghibli, which means that it will boast a plethora of leather elements and a generously sized screen on the center console.
Power-wise, we’re talking about 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engines for the Levante 350 and 430 variants, but there will also be 3.0-liter V6 diesel version of this car. The 350 will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds and will reach a top speed of 151 mph while the 450 will need to just 5.2 seconds to perform the same sprint and will go on until it will reach 164 mph. As for the diesel, it will be able to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds and will hit a top speed of 143 mph, which is not bad at all.
