Highly exclusive and featuring a unique look, the U-Boat Chimera 46 Skeleton is a remarkable timepiece that was created as part of a limited edition of just 88 units. It features a 46mm blackened stainless steel case as well as a pair of sapphire crystals and a superb side window that gives it a unique look. Its water resistance level of 328 feet was achieved by locking the bezel and the back of the case tightly, and we’re not exactly surprised by the piece’s resistance to high pressures, as we are talking about a watch with a nautical theme, after all.
Its over-sized crown is perhaps one of its most eye-catching features. In order make the user’s job of adjusting the date and time easier, the watch’s manufacturers have implemented a sculpted pusher that ejects the inner-crown from its recessed position. The movement is a Swiss automatic U-BOAT caliber U-77, which can be admired partially thanks to the skeletonized dial. Other highlights include a handmade black leather strap with a blackened buckle, which adds a final touch of elegance to this practical and reliable watch.
