Even though it’s only been launched in the US for about a year now, the Alpina B6 Gran Coupe caught BMW’s attention and received a series of improvements. The 2016 Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe was upgraded both visually and performance-wise, with the performance upgrades being the most noticeable. By tuning the vehicle’s already impressive twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine, BMW’s experts managed to squeeze out impressive power figures such as 590 lb-ft of torque and 600 horsepower.
The power is kept in check by an ALPINA-tuned eight-speed automatic gearbox complemented by an all-wheel drive system that contributes to impressive 0-60 mph sprint times of 3,6 seconds, not to mention the 200mph top speed.
Visually, the car boasts a brand new front fascia with a slightly modified grille as well as an altered front spoiler, a new hood and blue brake calipers. The 2016 Aplina B6 xDrive Gran Couple will become available for order in March and will reach its owners in the US in June.
