It looks like there’s a growing thirst in Asia for McLaren sportscars, and so the British carmaker decided to respond in kind by creating its very first regionally tailored vehicle – the Mclaren 650C. The vehicle looks pretty much the same as the 650S model, but it does flaunt improved driving dynamics as well as a more comfortable ride overall. The 650S comes in 2 versions of its own named 625C Coupe and 625C Spider, both of which are equipped with the same V8 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine. However, they boast slightly different performance capabilities.

The engine is able to deliver 450 lb-ft of torque and 625 horsepower, which means that the 625C Coupe can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds, while its top speed is 207 mph. The 625C Spider has the same sprinting capabilities but its top speed is slightly lower at 204 mph. These cars feature looser rear spring rates as well as new dampers, which is why they are definitely more refined when compared to the regular 650S.
These special cars will be launched in Hong Kong initially, but they will become available in other Asian countries during the following months.
