Highly Exclusive One Hertz Techniek Watch by Grönefeld

First unveiled in 2010 as the world’s first watch with independent dead seconds, Grönefeld’s One Hertz was and still is an exquisite timepiece, powered by an excellent in-house movement, Calibre G-02. The newest version of the watch is the highly exclusive One Hertz Techniek with a sturdy Grade 5 natural polished, brushed titanium case.

There is also a slightly different variant of the piece, called One Hertz Techniek Nocturne, whose case is made of black DLC coated titanium. The mechanism inside flaunts 285 components, and parts of it can be admired through the crystal, both at the front and at the back. For the new Techniek model, the watch manufacturers chose to revive the dead seconds complication, and so the dial shows a large ring for this feature. Only 30 units will ever be produced.
