Luigi Rosselli Architects have recently completed this stunning project in Sydney, Australia. Called the Benelong Crescent Apartments, the project impresses with its cascading architecture. You can find it in an eastern suburb in Sydney, called Bellevue Hill. The building looks like a huge yacht with multiple decks, but the architects drew their inspiration from somewhere else: the Einstein Tower in Potsdam, by Erich Mendelsohn.
As the apartments cascade down the hill, their terraces invite its dwellers to admire the views and enjoy the sun. The top end of the building faces a quiet street, and its walls “have been moulded to wrap around the trees”. Even though they are all part of the same concept, each apartment has its own personality.
