Japan’s Most Expensive Single Malt: Yamazaki 50 Years Old

Japan’s Most Expensive Single Malt Yamazaki 50 Years Old

One of the oldest distilling and brewing companies in Japan, Suntory Holdings Ltd., has recently unveiled the Yamazaki 50 Years Old single malt whisky, the most expensive in Japan. Maintained in special barrels of oak, this is one if the rarest whiskies in the world. Being a limited-edition luxe beverage, only 150 bottles will ever be made.

Each beautifully etched bottle will contain 700 milliliters of the old whisky and will be priced at about $12,900. With a long lasting fruity flavor, a special aroma of aloeswood, and a slight smoky finish, the Yamazaki 50 Years Old whisky will be launched just in time for a very special Christmas: on December 13. Each bottle will come in a classy grey box.Japan’s Most Expensive Single Malt Yamazaki 50 Years Old
