Veilside’s First Interpretation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Veilside’s First Interpretation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (2)

Veilside is a Japanese tuning firm that unveiled something very alluring at the Tokyo Auto Salon. They created a carbon fiber body kit for the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class and named it Fortune. This was the first time that they ever tried to enhance the appeal of a SL, but they did it like professionals.

The conversion includes new hood, front bumper, side skirts, fenders, rear spoiler and rear bumper, all made of carbon fiber. Their interpretation of this Mercedes model is clearly inspired by the SL 65 AMG Black Series, however, the differences are quite easy to spot. We like what we see in the pictures, but apparently Veilside decided to only produce 300 kits for the SL. One such kit will set you back approximately $39,000.
