Compactness and spaciousness usually cancel each other out, but when it comes to superyacht-ready submersibles, it looks like there’s an exception. The Triton 10007 submersible is compact enough to fit inside a superyacht, but it is also spacious enough to offer seating for seven people, which is quite impressive.
It can also reach depths of up to 1,000 feet, and it can be operated from cruise ships and superyachts that have large enough tender garages. The submersible measures in at 12.5 feet in length and 8.2 feet in height, and it can run for up to 18 hours on a single charge. Its thrusters enable a top speed of 3.5 knots, and the price tag is $4,9 million.
