The Stunning Pininfarina Sergio Concept Supercar

If you are looking for a new highly exclusive and prohibitively expensive car to add to your collection, maybe you should take a look at this ride right here. This is the Pininfarina Sergio Concept, created as a tribute to the late Sergio Pininfarina, who passed away last summer at 85 years of age. Based on the Ferrari 458 Spider, the car measures 4,550 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,140 mm in height (approx. 180 in x 76 in x 45 in).

The Sergio is a two-seater with two doors, and it weighs 1,280 pounds. Priced at approximately €3 million (some $3.6 million), the car comes with two helmets included in the purchase price. He reason? Pininfarina chose not to fit this car with a windshield, thus ensuring a higher thrill factor for the driver. If however helmets are not your cup of tea, you can also order your Sergio with a protective windshield. Just remember, only 5 or 6 units will enter production.

Underneath its hood lies a 4499cc V8 engine linked to a 7-speed sequential transmission. This is the perfect starting point for a memorable experience: 199 mph maximum speed and a 0-62 mph time of less than 3.4 seconds. Even though the car is not yet street legal, its makers have announced that they know what needs to be done to secure a place among the best road-legal rides in the world. We hope they make all the necessary tweaks soon!
