Following the remarkable success of the first Bentley Continental GTC, the second generation model is better in every respect and delivers a more contemporary presence. We will all have the pleasure of seeing it at the International Automobile Exhibition (IAA) in Frankfurt next month, but before that, we are happy to present some of the car’s highlights and some very convincing images too.
First, the use of advanced production techniques resulted in a more sculpted exterior design and an enhanced visual appeal. A modified radiator grille, a new rear profile and jeweled headlamps with LED daytime running lights are all part of the car’s new appearance.
The interior of the vehicle was also revamped, receiving a new instrument panel and dashboard with soft leather finish, “cobra style” seats for extra comfort and more rear space, and a 30GB infotainment with advanced satellite navigation. Customers can personalize the interior of their new GTC by choosing from seven veneers, seventeen hide colors and six color split combinations. New Balance Mode Radiator speakers are part of the standard package.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 6-liter W12, the car boasts 567 bhp, 516 lb-ft of torque and a top speed of 195 mph. The 0-60 mph sprint takes only 4.5 seconds to complete. As far as the driving experience is concerned, the new Continental GTC will definitely impress you. The powerful engine is coupled with a ZF 6HP28 transmission with Quickshift system, which enables double downshifts and offers 50% shorter shift times.
